1. What is the tax value per $1,000 in the Town of Wheatfield?

The combined tax rate for County and Town of Wheatfield is $16.23 per $1,000 plus $471.75 for sewer user fee and garbage pickup. Also add to that the School Tax in your district the Town of Wheatfield has 2 school districts. Niagara Wheatfield is $28.09 per $1,000 for Homestead (residential) and $38.20 per $1,000 for Non-Homestead (commercial). Starpoint is $32.67 per $1,000.Wheatfield.

2. What are the hours, and where do I pay my Town & County Tax?

Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm & Tuesday during Tax season from 8:00am - 7:00pm.

You can pay those taxes at Wheatfield Town Hall:  2800 Church Road, in the Town Clerks office, during normal business hours and on our Town website under County Tax Payment. Wheatfield.ny.us 

Please note we now have an elevator if needed around the backside of the building.

3. How can I find my tax bill?

Wheatfield.ny.us has a tab called BIll Pay.  You can look up your County tax bill and Water.  Put your address in the box: Only street number and name.  (do not add suffix; Rd, Drive, Lane etc) And it will access your bill that you can print out. 

4. How can I calculate my tax bill?

You take the assessed value of your home and times it by the Tax amounts per thousand:  Current  County Tax amount is $16.23  (+ 471.75 for garbage/sewer/water usage)

example:   Assessed value is:  125,000  

                 $125,000 X .01623 =  2029.00  + 471.75 =  2500.00 county tax
