Hello and welcome to the website for the Town of Wheatfield, New York, a great place to live and work, a nice place to visit. On this site you will find a great deal of information about Town services, meetings and opportunities, as well as helpful information important to our residents.

Wheatfield has a lot to offer residents and guests: from our several parks and recreation services, youth center, activities and sports programs to an extremely active senior citizens group. We have several social clubs including the American Legion and Eagles, Lion’s, Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs and Project Future where young and old can learn how to live while enjoying martial arts training.

Wheatfield is surrounded by excellent educational institutions from Niagara County Community College to Niagara University, the University of Buffalo, Buffalo State College and Canisius College and others. The Wheatfield Blades youth hockey association is housed on Niagara Falls Blvd. not far from Gleason Gymnastics. Shawnee Golf Course has some terrifically challenging holes for even the best golfers.

Located on the Niagara River just 10 minutes from Niagara Falls, ( one of the natural wonders of the World ), Wheatfield has so much to offer. From here you are a half hour from Buffalo with all the assets of a major city: the Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Bandits, Shea’s Threater where the best of Broadway comes to town. There's beautiful Artpark a few minutes away, Old Fort Niagara and great shopping nearby.

Wheatfield has an International airport located in Town  and Buffalo Niagara International Airport only 20 minutes away. We have four industrial parks as well as a well educated, highly trained workforce here and around the area.

Wheatfield is just minutes from three major border crossings with Ontario; Toronto is located within a short drive. In fact, about 50% of the population of both the U.S. and Canada are within one day’s drive.
